I have reached a brick wall in tracing the ancestors of this chap.
He was born in Richmond, Yorkshire.

He married Elizabeth/Eliza Greason (I think its that, her mother was Margaret Greason and they came over from Ireland)

John and Elizabeth, had 9 Children; William,Benjamin, Roland, George, Henry, Teresa, John, Alfred and Mary all born in Newcastle between 1860-1880.

I haven't been able to ascertain John's parents, so.......

Any info greatly appreciated.
