Pat & Paul Report 29 Dec 2007 13:59

I am trying to find any information on Charles Frederick Paul b18/11/1882.
He was the captain of the Admiralty Rescue Tug the St Genny which went down 30 miles NW of Ushant on the night of 12/13 January 1930 with the loss of 23 men.
He was married to my G Aunt Annie Cecilia Rentall and they lived in Chatham.
Any information on his family and place of birth would be gratefully recieved.

His Naval record is on the Documentsonline site - you can download it for £3-50, although I think it's unlikely that it will give family info. The index showing his record states that he was born in Battersea.
