Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 192 Send Message	This is a big ask, I'm looking for ....John Jones!!! So to narrow it down here is what I know. He was born in 1839 in Aberystwyth, Cardiganshire and lived there all his life.The sub district he was most likely born in was either, Blaenplwy or Llanbaden Fawr.(depending on which census you look at.) His fathers name was Jenkin Jones and both men were miners in 1860, which is when John got married. Any help finding him before his marriage would be appreciated. Thanks Louise

Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 192 Send Message	Does the 1851 say what occupation his father was? There were at least a dozen John Jones born in 1839 in the reg dist of Aberytwyth I didnt know where to start! This should help.

Member Since: July 2005 Posts: 192 Send Message	The original John Jones I was looking for was born about 1839. Ok I think I get it . The 1841 census was taken in June 1841 and John was 8 mths old therefore born about oct nov 1840, am I right?
