i'm trying to find ethels maiden name .we think she was born in 1893 and married samuel woodford around 1915 in the gwent ,s wales area. would be very grateful if anyone could find any information ,thank you |

yes they had 4 children,ivor , gordon and dorrinder and also one wose name i dont know but was killed in the navy |

yes they had 4 children,ivor , gordon and dorrinder and also one wose name i dont know but was killed in the navy.we know ethal was welsh so it wouldnt have been the one from birmingham and as her eldest son,ivor woodford was born about 1917but we do think she died around 1986 and it was definately in newport |

This could be David Samuel in the 1901 census, his father is also called Samuel |

There's someone on here called Susan who has a Dorenda Woodford in her tree. Right place, different birth year - would be worth contacting as the Dorenda born 1933 could be named after her. Wattsville is where Samuel V 's parents lived. |
