the two children i have found were christened in the parish of st marys in lambeth, surrey. i dont know where the parents were born.

Louise, what Parish(s) were William and Ann born in? If there were more births, they would most likely be at that Parish. Then I would check that Parish's records.

It looks as though it's Walland, but it's probably been transcribed incorrectly!

would someone do 2 things for me?

firstly look up ann wallan on 1841 census born around 1811. doesnt give a birth place but living in parish of st marys newington.
Ann and william are on the top of the page-go back a page to the last entry-this lady is with them. does that surname say wallan?

secondly im going around in circles with IGIs!!!!! I have established that william and ann wallan (1780s) had 2 children william and ann born 1806 and 1809 ish. How can i search for anymore children, im getting nowhere!
