Jacky - cannot trace any children on first marriage (unless of course she had been married before therefore maiden name different) and cannot see that she died either!!

Think thats about all I can do - maybe you should buy the first marriage certificate - unfortunately cannot find the second marriage.

Kind regards

Hi Jacky - definately no sign of marriage between James & Gertrude - maybe they went to Ireland for the marriage - if not there could be fraud because Michael was definately shown as Hendricks MMN Farrelly!! Just going to see if I can find anything significant in first marriage.

Hi Jacky - have searched marriages from 1964 to 1979 inclusive and no sign of the marriage! When was your partner born and what is his name - it may help.

Kind regards

Hi Jacky - findmypast is fully transcribed and is much better than ancestry - yes you can either pay a yearly subscription or buy credits, if you go on the site (just type in google box findmypast) you can find the details. Its not worth buying a yearly subscription unless you do loads of lookups like I do and it is not cheap! You can buy I think it is £10 worth of credits which will allow so many look ups but cant remember the detail now.

Will see if I can now find the 1970s marriage.
