Hi, can anyone help, I am looking for a William Young father of George E Young for the year 1881. I have a marriage certificate dated 4th September 1883 for George at St Edwards Roman Catholic Church, St George Hanover Square county of Middlesex. His father is named as William Young profession Druggist and as he is not marked as deceased I presume him to be alive at this time.. George then moved to Herne Bay Kent between 1888 and 1891. George was born in 1858 Bath, Somerset.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks, Carolyn.

I found this George a while back and traced William his father, sent for marriage certificate between him and an Ellen Bush but it states he was a Coachman.
Also this William died in 1860.

I know from Georges marriage certificate that he was 26 when he married which means he would have been born in 1857.

Hi Sophie
Its definately George on his marriage certificate it states that he is a 2nd class petty officer in the Royal Navy living at 94 York Street Westminster unfortunately they don't give the address for his father. George is also George E on a later document that I have.

I have coastguards records showing George E Young, date and place of birth SOM 1858 Bath, location Herne Bay Kent, I also found him in the 1891 census information as above.
I thought that the George you have just found was the so called one and researched it but this is the same as before mother Ellen Bush, father William Young who died in 1860 and occupation was a coachman.
