Hi, I would also be interested in any information regarding the Crawleys who originally came from Ireland, but I am not sure which part of Ireland - regards, Carol. PS, I will reply to all with info.

Any information relating to Janet Jordan (or Jardine) Crawley, born c1866 in Mochrum Wigtownshire. Janet married my Great Grandfather James McGeorge and they had six children, James, William, Alfred (my Grandfather), Robert, Janet and Herbert. James junior was born in Mochrum, but the family then moved to Toxeth Park in Liverpool - in about 1891. Seeking any information which will clarify the second name of Janet - whether it is Jordan or Jardine, and where that second name came from as both my Mum and my Auntie were given Christian names which related to their parents' families.
