It may be worth sending for their marriage cert to get their parents names

Info from Kirsty in PM:

Grandad is Ronald Houghton b Sept 1926. The records gives mothers maiden name as Teasdale.

So this should be parents marriage. If you obtain the certificate, this will give ages, and fathers names and occupations which should assist in finding them in census records.

please could anybody help me find my grandads grandparents he was 1 of 13 hes parents was called bill houghton and mum was called alice houghton {teesdale} before she got married any info much appreciated
