It might help to give an idea of where these things happened. ;)


In the GRO, the births that resemble yours are:

Sybil Esther De Frece 1900 Jul-Aug-Sep Fulham
Ctril De Frece 1897 Oct-Nov-Dec Fulham

The dates aren't quite the same. There is also:

Donaldson Isaac De Frece 1903 Apr-May-Jun Fulham


The marriage? --

Alfred De Frece 1896 Jan-Feb-Mar Fulham

but the Violet on the page is:

Violet Lawrence 1896 Jan-Feb-Mar Fulham


the registration details of all those events can be checked at

http://www.freebmd.org.uk

and certificates ordered from the GRO online -- e.g. the marriage certificate to get the spouse's father's names, if you don't have them.

There was a Violet Samuel born in Liverpool in 1860, but she doesn't seem to have married a Lawrence pre-1896.

The children's birth certificates would clarify the mother's name. You do seem to need some clarification here!

I wonder what the deal with her name in the marriage registration was?

Alfred de Fece (c1855) was married to Violet Samuel (1860). They had two children: Sybil (c 1895) and Cyril (1892 - 1916).
Anyone out there know of them? Please get in touch.
