I have the record from 1851 but wondered where the family went to in 1841!!! I was hoping the 1841 record would show Stephen and Eliza's daughter Jane Fogden who I descend from. At the moment I can't find a birth for her in 1831 and she is not on any census!!!!! I thought she should be with her parents in 1841 as she would be only ten!

The Stephen and Sarah records are a different Stephen Fogden born in Bosham, Sussex. My Stephen was born in South Mundham, Sussex.

I'm looking for Stephen Fogden a customs officer or tide waiter, born abt. 1794 and his wife Eliza bn abt. 1797 in the 1841 census. They had the following children that I know about:

Stephen Fogden born 1818
Mary Ann Fogden born 1821
Sarah Jane Fogden born 1824
Emma Louisa Fogden born 1825
Jane Fogden born 1831
Maybe an Ann Fogden but not sure on this one.

They could be living in the Bermondsey area. Otherwise in Sussex area near Chichester.
