Doncaster adoption...help!

Is there anyone who has any information about a home for unmarried mothers which was at Chequer Road, Doncaster (now a private residence) back in 1947. Or is there anyone else that resided or was adopted from there?

I was born at Doncaster hospital and adopted from the home at 2 weeks old. The hospital has now been demolished and there appears to be no existing paperwork from either the home or the hospital.

I was born 8/2/47 as Sandra Bennett. My mothers name was Ida Marjorie Bennett.

Its a sensitive area as step-siblings etc may not even know that I eist but I would like to fill that missing link in my life. I have tried other avenues of searching but keep hitting brick walls. Any advice or information would be greatly appreciated.
