Hello Margaret
I found the marriage of Blaney & Ellen on Family History on line:

Parish St Annes, Richmond Date 18030511 Groom Blaney Toombs of parish Liverpool occupation Mariner Bride Ellen Shaw of parish Liverpool a Widow by Banns/Licence L
Amount paid £0.08

Goodness knows where the name Blaney comes from. When their daughter Elizabeth was baptised he was noted as Bloyney on IGI.
Sorry just noted the spelling Toombs

Thanks for looking

I can't find anything on BVRI for Blaney Toomes. Do you suppose Blaney is a nickname? Can't find a marriage of Ellen Shaw to a Toomes either.

Hello

I am looking for the following 2 chaps and wonder if anyone could help?

I have a copy of a death cert for an Ellen Toomes nee Shaw who died in 1838 in Liverpool. At the time of her death she was the widow of Blaney Toomes a mariner. Ellen was 68 when she died and living at Bispham St. I am hoping someone may have access to the BIVRI & NBI who could see if anything on Blaney Toomes, either a death or baptism.

I am also trying to find the death of Thomas/Tom Wootten.Thomas was born in Ilminster abt 1850. He married Ellen Gummer on 7 Dec 1873 at Clifton Registry Office, Glouestershire (now Bristol). In the 1881 census Ellen is a widow so Thomas died between 1873 & 1881 either in Ilminster or Gloucestershire or may even have died in Wales

Any help greatly appreciated
