Help please !!!!!

I have been looking for my grandmother and great mother for 2 years now

I have the newspaper notice for the death of my great grandfather Harry WOODCOCK in 1968

but I am unable to find the marriage for him anfd her .

I know my great grandmother is called Phyllis J but cant find any marriage ...

I also know Phyllis' sisters were called

Valerie and she married a MCKENNA I think Stanley
Ethel and she married Thomas MOSS
and
another sister who is called Mrs W HULME

can you look for any of these marriages of the sisters so I might find their maiden names ??

The funeral took place in Altrincham and Harry was from Oldham in Lancashire ... but Val & Stan may have been from Cirencester ....

Thanks sooo much

Was Harry Woodcock the father of the daughter born in 1932? What was the daughter's name?

How old was he when he died?

oo thank you for the prompt replies ....

I have no idea who placed the notice in the paper

I assume it was Phyllis his wife ...
it was a cutting my aunt had ..

here is what it says :

Mr H Woodcock

The service and internment took place at Altrincham Crematorium on Friday of Mr Harry Woodcock, aged 76, the Bungalow, Beech Lawn, Bowdon, who died suddenly at home the previous Tuesday.
The Rev. J Heywood, Vicar of St Margaret's Bowdon, officiated and Mr E Ridler was organist.
Mr Woodcock was well known throughout Lancashire and Cheshire as a market stallholder in the grocery trade. He served in the 1914-18 war and was awarded the Miltary Medal. He lived in the Altrincham area for about 40 years.

Chief mourners: Mrs P J Woodcock( widow): Mr and Mrs T E Waite (son in law and daughter) Mr J Fairburn (nephew) Mrs V Mckenna, Mrs Ethel Moss, Mrs W Hulme (sisters in law), Mr George Bell, Mr George Jones (also representing staff of Altrincham Market Stall ) and Mr G H Farnworth .

The daughter mentioned is my grandmother
Ruth , She married Thomas Waite and on her marriage certificate it says her name as
Ruth Lindley WOODCOCK
and her father as Harry WOODCOCK
she was born 1932 / 1933

However the family story is that Harry wasnt her father but her step father and possibly from a previous marriage ...

I have searched for Ruths birth under WOODCOCK and ever tried LINDLEY to no avail ...
I have never met my grandmother Ruth as her children were bought up by their father since the 70's
