I have he name Laws in my tree from Norwich too and know it changes every census from laws to lawes. |

Thanks Jill, we have a query over the Ann that he married, I have her as Ann Graves and a relation has her as Ann Sherry, it's not an easy hobby is it? |

Thanks for the offer, but I think it was Middlesex as his wife came from Shoreditch. I'm going to Westminster soon to look at the parish register for the birth of their 1st son, maybe that will throw some light on things, I've never looked at a register so don't know what it might contain. |
