Thanks for that information Lisa.

I have the 2003 posting and have tried without success to make contact with the originator, a Debra Kelly. This is certainly my Great great uncle as most of the information ties in with an entry on "one world tree".

WWW was certainly in the UK in 1881 census, and his first wife Alice Spencer did not die until 1883/84.

Any sign if his two children that emigrated with him?

Ronald, someone in 2003 was looking for a William Waddilove Whitaker.
http://genforum.genealogy.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi?forum=wadlow&url=%2Fwadlow%2F&path
=%2Fwadlow%2F&terms=waddilove&boolean=AND

If that link doesn't work, I found it trying a google search for "William Waddilove Whitaker". (Note, I added a line return to the link, so it would fit onto the page.)

I will look for him in Boston, also.
