Have just done a quick search on the National Archives site and it seems your Josef had appilied for naturalisation, if you follow the links it will tell you what info they have on him.

www.nationalarchives.gov.uk and put his surname in the search box , it brings up him and E.M. Czubek and Zygfryd Czubek .

I know Josef Czubek died in England in June 1986 and he had a brother Alojzy who lived in London, he died in 1997. They were both born in Poland and moved over here. If anyone knows any info or any other relatives please let me know.
