Here they are in 1901. Did your grandmother change her name? |

My great grandparents were George and Annie Machin, originally from Staffordshire and later from Dewsbury Yorks. They had six sons, Joseph, James, John, Charles, George and Septimus, and one daughter, Charlotte, my grandmother. Joseph, John and Charles all lost their lives in WWI. James Machin later became a Police Inspector and later Mayor of Ludlow. I would love to trace his son, John, who I believe moved to London. Any information on this family would be welcome. |
