I did find an entry on the IGI once which had parents John Luff and Elizabeth. I wonder if they are around in 1841 with a son William Henry Luff. Are you able to check that for me as a possibility?

Just to add, he was married in NZ in 1869 but the marriage certificate doesn't seem to exist according to records here and his death certificate didn't have any parents listed on it, so I'm at a dead loss what to do next with him really!! I can't even find a shipping record for him coming out to NZ which would have his occupation on it, which can help with census lookups.

I'm looking for William Henry Luff born around 1831-33 in London in the 1841, 1851 and 1861 census records. He came to NZ in 1866 apparently. Sadly I do not know anything else about him, not even his parents or siblings. Can anyone help me out with this?
