I have been trying for some years now to find my English
relatives. My Great Grandfather was a Thomas Jackson who married a Sarah Bamford at st Marys Lictfield STA in 1793 and they had I beleive the following children Peter Edward, Thomas, Kate and Anne. I think Peter had at least 3 children surely there must be some off spring as this would have been in the1840?period not so long ago. My Grandfather was the Thomas who married a Mary ann Jones at Liverpool in1839 before coming on to Van Diemans Land then Victoria in1841. I post a request in hope there are some relatives in England that will answer some answers about my missing and uncertain heritage.
