Is it possible that a person who was born in 1 place and moved to another at a young age would use that 2nd place as their place of birth on a marriage certificate?? |

The info on certificates is only as good as the person giving the info and the person writing it down, so yes its quite possible for details on certificates to be different to eg census records. |

Thanks guys. I'm starting to think that is a possibility for my ggg grandfather as he just can not seem to be found with the place of birth he gave. So i guess now i shall try a new tactic. |
