My grandfather, Thomas Griffith Owen was born in West Derby, Liverpool 26 June 1877 to John Griffith Owen & Mary nee Lewis. His siblings were Margaret Grace 1880, Mary Catherine 1881, Robert 1885, William 1887, Laura 1889, Letitia 1891, and Owen H 1893.
He became first a cashier/rent collector then estate agent (possibly for the Earls of Derby estate?) and married Edith in 1904 at Anfield Weslyan Methodist Chapel.
My father, William Henry John was born in Feb 1908 and I am particularly trying to trace his siblings or their decendants, although I would also love to know about Thomas's siblings.
Thomas lived at Walton Breck Road until about 1941 when he moved to Mayfair Ave in Crosby.
I cannot trace any record of him after that, although I have searched the death records. As his marriage came after the last open census, that avenue is closed as well.
Because my father seemed to lose touch with his family after his marriage, I have never known any of them and would love to discover who they are and possibly get in touch.
Can anyone help?
