Find Ancestors

I have in my possesion a Marriage Certificate for the the above for May 9th 1860 which gives the names of their fathers as Thomas Plant Rose and Benjamin Marfleet. Being a bit of a novice I am having trouble trying to find them in the cenuses and where they fit into my family tree. I would be grateful for any advice.

Many thanks for your reply, all i have to go on is the certificate which was witnessed by william rose and sarah rose and their is an address of residance at the time of marriage , would this help ?

On the 1851 census i sent through their is a William and Sarah in the family-brother and Sister of John.I would say this is the right family.Mary'sfamily was born in Surrey and so was Thomas Rose so it looks like it all connects.

Does it give the ages of the couple? That would help pin them down in census returns. (I expect it says full age though ...)
