On the basis that their children seem to be with relatives, it's possible that both parents have died (although nothing on the Oxon. NBI which includes Hook Norton). FreeBMD lists a Daniel LAMPETT marrying in Chipping Norton RD in 1838 (Q4). On the same page are two Anne's - HUGHES and MARGETTS. (There is no suitable marriage previous to this on the Oxfordshire Marriage Index - so it may be worth buying the certificate.) Penny

	There is this christening on the IGI. It's in the right place but the age is out a bit. 	It says they were both born in County. Have you found them on 1851 that might give a bit more detail? He looks like he's a joiner by the way although image is not brilliant. Jill
