The only record of a John James Post is 1906 4th qtr Faversham ref 2a 970. Where did you get the 1912 date from as no Post reg then by this name that I can see.

There were two Mary Post in Kent
Mary Post b1891 1st qtr reg. Hollingbourne 2a 782

Mary Ann Post b1884 4th qtr East Ashford ref 2a 302

If its the first one which seems more likely she is on the 1901 census at Lenham High St Kent with parents James and Harriett.

In 1915 a Mary Post married Edgar Finch reg. Blean Kent 1st qtr ref 2a 1588

Went on to have 3 children

Of course there may have been more but these are the only ones showing on the transcribed records.

Can anybody out there tell me anything about Mary Post. All I know is that she gave birth to my Grandfather on the 14/7/1912. In the Penshurst district of Sevenoaks. She named him John James Post. He was adopted at birth. Thank you.
