Does anyone know if is at all possible to access Edinburgh's electoral roll - if there is such a thing? Does anyone have access to it and willing to do look ups?

Failing that can anyone give me a clue as to to how to find living relatives in Scotland.

ER's are available in the main public library of the relevant area .....you need to know the address to search them.

It will show if they are on the electoral roll, but you would have to pay for the address.

It is like looking for a needle in a haystack. Need someone who has the wherewithall to find living relatives?

Am trying to get my father's brother, my father is 70 so would like to succeed quite quickly!!
