Hi there, have found entry for a relative on births but at bottom of page there is also a hand written message to look somewhere else?
Any idea why this would have been done and how do I find this other detail?
Any help please?
Thanks Dawn

Dawn I do transcribing for FreeBMD and this occurs because an error was made originally. The birth may not have been recorded properly at the right time.

Does it say something at the end like : see J20
This means you have to look in the June Quarter of 1920 and the birth will be there.

If you give me the details I'll have a look for you, if it is someone living then send me a PM
