Thanks everyone for your prompt replies. The transition to the 1841 census is difficult as the info is rather vague and there are too many females! Would anyone run through the 1851 census then to see if we can get a bit more info. |

This is the only Henry Royle I could find of the right age. The 1841 census doesn't give birth place only if born in county. His occ is Weaver |

Having painstakingly found some ancestors in the Parish Records of Flixton St Michael (Manchester) would anyone out there check to see whether these people feature on the 1841 census? May still be Flixton or possibly Manchester Areas. |
