I am trying to find any info on clara bateman who was the 2nd wife of my gt grandfather william organ. they married in1908 in birmingham and clara was listed as a widow. she was born abt 1873. I would be interested to find out if there were any children from her first marriage and also when she died.

Was Bateman her previous married name or her maiden name? There are a couple of Clara Batemens in the 1901 for Birmingham, both have 2 children - but it will be difficult for you to determine which one she is without having her maiden name and then following through to see if she married either of those men.

As Sam says, it sounds like you have the cert if you can tell us she was a widow, what former name did she give - or what was her fathers name.
