	william creighton b 1803 d 1874 morpeth northumberland had 4 children all born morpeth thomas 1840 eliza 1842 catherine 1844 and william 1845 but no trace of a wife can i find. i have followed him through 1841 to 1871.. lots of female servants but no wife.. and then on with his children...so could he reg them all in his name without marrying their mother/s? thanks vivienne.
