Hi there -

I am wondering if any one can point me in the right direction please, or maybe help with my investigations. My grampy Jack Robert Harris was lucky enough to be selected to go to the Duke of York's holiday camp (Jesson) in August 1928 (age 18). He worked for R.A.Listers & Co and was 1 of 20 lads to be selected (10 from industry and 10 from public schools).

I am trying to find out more information on what he would have got up to doing his time there and pictures if possible...

Is anyone aware of these camps?

Thank you in advance

Em

Is there anything to be found by googling?
