Thank you for trying to help.

I have information with marriage etc but have been searching for his birth for ages.

I have a John.H.Bibbey born dec 1854 in congleton which comes under cheshire.

On his marriage cert (1877) it has dad as Richard Bibbey who at that time is a Lawyer.

Doesn't matter if he cannot be fount, thanks for trying.

wow

Margaret that is amazing, this family is very complicated, im fine after 1881, get stuck again after 1901, but anything before 1881 has been hard work and searching for ages.

Thank you ever so much that is brilliant and gives me something to go on.
Cheers

That's right, Nichola, I hadn't thought of that! They're all half-brothers and sisters not step. They all had the same mother, didn't they?
Marg
No, you're not being cheeky, I love doing look-ups! Off now to look for 1841.
Just realized she would still be Rebecca Taylor in 1841, didn't marry Loundes till Dec. 1842.

MargaretM Report 5 Jan 2008 23:21

1841 census
Wheelock, Cheshire
Rebecca Taylor, 30, publican
Sarah Bibby, 13
Ann Bibby, 11
Richard Bibby, 9
Thomas Bibby, 7
John Taylor, 5
Leonard? Taylor, 3
All born in county.
(Phew! it confirms my theory)
(Also that Leonard could be Samuel, you know how it is with the fancy L looking like S. Isn't that how this started with the difference between Lawyer and Sawyer?)

your right again, she didnt marry him then,

have managed to find mary and robert and she is their mum. So have their birth info. Think I have fount roberts death. No marriages as yet for the bibbey children apart from richard. But Im looking, lol.

Still looking for the lowndes boys, lol, but looking at the dates she is their mother,

what a busy woman!

Thanks for that, just making sure I am not missing any more children or husbands,

thanks
:-)

add on,

that was fast, lol,

yes I got confused with the s and L, good point.
