I am trying to find where my gt gt gt gt Grandfather THOMAS ISSARD was born. He married in Trefeglwys Montgomeryshire in 1780 SARAH BENNETT from a well respected local family. He was a "shopkeeper" Obviously more than that as he acquired quite a number of properties. He was not born there.
Witness at his marriage was WILLIAM ISSARD I think that he was from Oswestry although not born there. There are two brothers WILLIAM and THOMAS IZARD born in Hunsdon, Herts at the right time (c 1743) sons of THOMAS and MARCY IZARD. This Thomas was a labourer. Can anyone help? Margaret
