From all the previous census Maria would have been 54 at the time of Lily's birth therefore too old to be her mother.

It would appear that Charles and Lilly are brother and sister although it says Cuadie born 1871 on the census it is actually Charlie

You could check their families backwards in the census - they may turn out to be cousins.

hi im new to this and i was wondering if any body could help me or point me in the right direction to find a connection between

lilly bridgewater born in monmouthshire wales 1891 +/- 1 year
and
charles bridgewater born in monmouth wales 1871 +/- 1 year

i have found them both in the 1901 census both living in diffrent households and i'm not to sure how to find out how / if they were related

lilly father was called william bridgewater aged 57 in1901 census
lilly mother was called maria bridgewater aged 57 in 1901 census

lilly had a son called william thomas bridgewater born 08/09/1910
in crickhowell

the only other information i have on charles is that he raised lilly's son william
