cant find them on any other census but this seems to be Alfred on the 1901

The census info are them in both cases.

I found this as a mistranscribed in 1861 - its the same address as on the certificate

I think I've found them in 1871 - don't ask how Dewberry is now Devenhay ??? - They're still living in Upper Charlton Street and when you look at the image the William looks like a Treadwell?!?!.

I'd appreciate another opinion

she has her grandfather father William Treadwell living with her but the enumerator has def listed her as Devenhay -widow

Thankfully they lived at the same address or I'd never would have found them. I've gone back and found one of her children James William, living with her grandfather William in Oxfordshire in the 1861 census - under the name Dusbery.

The search continues ....

So shes a widow in 1861 seems to be the right Elizabeth even tho shes now a Dewling!!,

James seems to have died between the 1851 census & the 1861.
