Hi, I am trying to trace family tree, and am looking for anyone who could possibly help with the folowing.
William Henry Fletcher, married to Janet Isabella Davies
William born 29 Aug 1878
Janet born 6 June 1877
Married 11 Dec 1910
I am trying to find out details of:
1.Wiliams brother Samuel(based in India)
Married Alice Davies
Children Samuel, Winifred, Muriel, Lily and James
There was also another child, a daughter i think by the name of Bridget..(Not too sure on this)
Also Williams father and mother were Samuel Fletcher
a corporal in 2/24th regiment brecon wales.. I think. Mother Charlotte Anne, don't have alot of info on her.

William Henry Fletcher -- born when and where?
If you're looking for info about his parents, have you found the household in the censuses? Looked for their marriage certificate?
They were Samuel Fletcher and Charlotte Anne. If William was born in the early 1850s, say, and you know where, you should be able to find their marriage at
http://www.freebmd.org.uk
and get a copy of the marriage certificate, which will show their ages and father's names and occupations, and of course Charlotte Anne's surname.
Much of this can be found in the censuses probably, by tracking them backwards, but it would be good to know, first, what you have done already, and of course to have a better idea of what you're looking for (ancestors, descendants ...).

as meaning those were the children of William Henry and Janet Isabella. ;)

and search for that marriage -- just say Fletcher married to Stone, 1858 -- you can check the images to make sure the info is correctly transcribed and then order the marriage certificate to get the father's names, and then etc. etc. If you need anything, just shout.
I had a look at

for son Samuel's birth in India, but no luck. Coverage there is still very spotty.
