OK I KNOW ITS A LONG SHOT AND A CHEEK TO ASK BUT FOR MY CHRISTMAS I GOT FAMILY TREE MAKER.
IM BUSY PUTTING INFO ON AT MOMENT - GOT TO REGISTER FOR ANCESTRY BUT DONT WANT TO DO IT AT MOMENT AS IM OFF ON HOLIDAY SOON AND WANT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MY FREE OFFER

Was your William Reid Watt Canadian or have links with Canada? If not, I doubt it will be your ancestor probably just matched a William Watt.

Just checked, although I don't have access to World Wide Ancestry I was able to see that the William Reid Watt in question was born in Scotland and arrived in Quebec, Canada before crossing to the USA.

If this sounds like your man, maybe someone will have access to the full records to look him up.

Unfortunately you need someone with US or World deluxe membership in order to see the page from the original ships log. An ordinary Ancestry membership won't do
