James and Rachel Lord but they had both died, Rachel in about 1851 and James in 1854. This is what I have for the 1861 census: |

I just found a George Lord born in 1851. George Frederic Lord born in Halifax, so maybe that is the one in the census in 1871. I'll go look for the death of a George Lord in Halifax or Bradford. |

Looks like she married Smith Barker, but the age is wrong for it to be your Ellen. |
