Trying to find Tomlinson

I am trying to get information about the birth and parentage of Annie Tomlinson. According to the 1891 and 1901 census, she was born in Sheffield. She married William Nixon in Blidworth Nottinghamshire in 1884, and her father is George Tomlinson. She was 24 when she married, and 62 when she died in 1922. However, I have been unable to find a birth, or census entry before 1891 which gives me confidence I have the right Annie. There is an Ellen Tomlinson on her marriage certificate as a witness, I suspect this is an unmarried sister? Anyone who thinks their family tree may include my Annie, please get in touch as I feel a bit trapped with her mysterious beginnings!! |
