Find Ancestors

i cant seem to find William and Sarah Trott in the 1911 census. their youngest son who is Alfred (born 1905).and a few other children Walter, Lucasea, George, and Charlotte. these all would of been under 17 years old..they lived in the west ham area but i havent found them anywhere. Alfred was my grandfather. Thanks. Sheena

Thank you, yes this is the family of 1901 census. My grandfather was born in may 1905 at Plaistow West Ham. as far as i know they lived in that area all his life. I just cant seem to find any of them in 1911 census.

louisa jane was 1 of his sisters. i dont know why she was put down as Lucasea.
my grandfather was the youngest of them all. their mothers name was sarah bevies Steel before Trott.

I have looked at that address in 1911 and they are not there either.

I'm afraid they have moved from 12 Dale Road by 1911 as there is another family at that address

thank you for looking. im having the same problem with my grandmother aswell. Laura Coombes was born march 1907 in West Ham. She lived around the corner from my grandfather when they met. Her Parents were, William John Coombes and Sarah Briggs.

On the original it has Sarah aged 31 and John William Coombes,but it is all scribbled over and unreadable for his age.
No occupation given and both born Canning Town.

Says on there they are married 4 yrs.

So I guess this is it,but he is now William James...

This is the one that i found. but i believe Laura was the eldest child, then William 1908, Henry 1916, Margaret 1917, David 1923. I cant believe my family are so difficult to find.

Well it certainly looks like the family to me.

Maybe some of the children died and others were named for them,that often happened.

But all the name are correct...

William James is on the marriage certificate, he was 26 and Sarah ann was 24. they married in january and my grandmother was born in march. their address is 104 Napier road west ham William. Sarah was at 60 Napier road.

Well I think that is the correct family and I can find no other that can be them...

I think Sarah Coombes is there with the children 1911, not sure if that is what you were saying too FBG.
