I appologise I stated Robert Alfords birth date as 1890,when as you say it should be 1876, which I have already confirmed,you have also confirmed Joseph was a brother, which had found this week. As you say ` what luck` as I have only started this "journey " about a month ago, this has given me a great leap forward or back, which ever way you look at it Thank you very much Kind regards John Alford

Member Since: July 2003 Posts: 5,630 Send Message	I would suggest you purchase the marriage certificate to give you a better footing on his age,,, if you think he was born in 1890 he would only be 14 in 1904.........the marriage cert will record also his fathers name & occupation helping you search for the family unit on the census details.
