Find Ancestors

I'm trying to find info on James Turner(born abt. 1822) His Australian marriage certificate states that he was born in Kensington, Middlesex. It also states that his parents were James Turner( possibly an engineer) and Harriet Griffith(s). Everywhere i turn i hit a brick wall trying to find any info on this family before James jnr came out to Australia.

When did James come to Australia?Wondered cos i found a census record for 1841 could be a poss for parents?I havent got James(Senior) birth year so took a guess.

James jnr came out to Australia around 1853.

Thanks for putting that up for me to see but i don't think it's a match because it seems on that the mother's name is Ann and the daughter is Harriet, and Harriet is his mother's name.

Here's another 1 place of birth is Chelsea which is same area as Kensington-they call it borough of Chelsea and Kensington.
Sorry if not right record but worth as you having trouble finding them to throw few suggestions over.
