I am trying to trace the descendants of William and Annie UNWIN who, at the 1901 Census lived at 48 Springfield Row, St. Helens, Lancashire. Other members of the household included:- Lily, 17 years. Thomas, 15 years. Annie, 11 years. Daniel, 6 years. John, 14 years. William, 8 years. I believe that William was actually William Edmund Welton, my Great Uncle. I know that he was brought up by William and Annie Unwin having been orphaned at the age of 2 years. William died in the First World War whilst serving for the Lancashire Fusiliers, he was 21 years of age. If you know anything about this family please get in touch. Thanks you for reading this message.
