Seeking information on DAVID WADE, ( son of Joseph Wade )born 1821 Goldhanger, Essex. Married MARY ANN CHAPLIN on 16th October 1843 in St Peters Church, Goldhanger. He was shown in the 1851 census as ' a private in the 55th of foot' but I suspect that this is wrong, and should be the '56th of foot-The Essex Regiment'. His wife remarried in 1855 as a widow. Obviously he died between 1851 and 1855. The only war at this time was the Crimean war 1854. Many soldiers died of Cholera and typhus at this time, was DAVId one of these? How do I find out? Any information on him or his ancestors would be appreciated!
