My name is Jean Jordan formerly Wapshott. My father was Henry Charles Wapshott known as Harry or his nickname Oakey) of The Ham Brentford,married to Mary. There were five children, myself, Marjorie, Henry, Ronald and Brian (the twins). Mr Grandfather( also known as Harry or Oakey) (known to me as Pop) and my Nan Ellen (known as Nellie) lived next door to us in The Ham, Brentford. Have found my Great Grandfather and Great Grandmother, who were Henry Wapshott and Charlotte Mary Wapshott (formerly Holtum). My great great grandfather was John Wapshott on my fathers side and Richard Holtum on my great grandmothers side. That takes me back to approximately 1818. Would like to find out my great great grandmothers name and anything about her and my great great grandfathers families. Can anyone help. Jean Jordan |
