About ten minutes ago i read a link on page two that mentioned Albert and Dorothy Warner ( Alby & Dot)....i thought, oooh i'll check my tree and get back to them.....now i can't see the message anymore!!! If you're out there please get in touch. I think Albert might be/have been my fathers cousin. My father was Colin Charles Warner, brothers Neville, Maurice and sister Jean. Father Sydney Joselyn Warner, mother Annie ( Rosie) Gilkes. Grandad ( Sydney) lost both lower legs in WW1 and two fingers from one hand. On 1901 census he was living with his parents on Westminster Road Handsworth aged 4. When i was little my grandparents lived in Marston Green and i was born in the maternity hospital there in 1963. I DO remember visiting someone called Albert with my Dad who was related somehow. PLEASE get in touch!! Sue |
