Trying to find Warren

Hi ! WARRENS OF MARNHULL,DORSET I am A.Roger Warren (you may find my Tree on Genes Reunited). We have solid data taking the family back to George Warren (b.1661 in Marnhull) who married Susannah Gilbert. Here we are 'stuck' - where did the Warren forebears originate ? Our current suspicion is that they may have decended from Sir Richard Fitzroy Warren of Fifehide (doubtless on 'the wrong side of the blanket' !) THREE formerly unknown distant cousins have undergone Male DNA tests with identical results proving descent from George Warren. However there is a mystery that they also seem to be related to Merediths in Wales, where Sir Richard had relations in Pembrokeshire ! Does anyone have details of Sir Richard or suggestions as to how to fill the gap ? Incidentally, Sir Richard Fitzroy (fils du Roi) was the result of the daughter of the last Earl of Warren's daughter being the concubine of KIng John. Roger Warren ([email protected])
