George Warren - Preston b1870

Married Elizabeth Troughton 1890. Trying to find relatives of this couple. They lived at 1 Agnes St, Preston in 1901 and had 8 children - the youngest was my Grandmother, Violet (born 1906.)

George Osborne Warren was born in Westminster 1870 but was in Preston by 1890. Still trying to find his mother's maiden name (was called Emma) 1881 census has her as a widow. I believe the father might also have been called George Osborne Warren.

Any help greatly appreciated

GeorgeOsborn's birth registration
Mar Q 1870 Westminster St Margaret 1a 387. The certificate would give you his father's name and mother's maiden name. No earlier registration for George Osborne, though, for his father.

Many thanks for these contributions.

Sorry Carol, should have mentioned my Elizabeth Troughton was born in Preston, according to 1901 census.

I suppose the ony way I can verify George's parentage is to get the birth certificate. New to this business so i was wondering which is the cheapest way of doing this
