Hi Thanks for reply . Cannot find this family after 1891 until Percy marries Jane Mary Alice Simpson on 2nd June 1913 in Hawthorn Co Durham This is my husbands grandfather anhd Grandmother and there seems to be a mystery as to the demise of Frederick Watson before this date.

I have a family I can't trace on the 1901 census so I understand the problem. I've resigned myself to waiting for the 1911 census to come out.

I will have a look for you though - another pair of eyes - you never know!

I think the surname is Redmayne as the image looks a bit scribbly.

Mabel (Jun 1893) and Catherine (Jun 1898) are both on FreeBMD under Redmayne.

Cannot see a marriage though ...

Jill you are a star and now my dear husband has remembered! the name Redmayne (Grandma Redmayne) but we have no knowledge at the moment of Mabel or Catherine. Percy and Will kept the surname Watson. I am off for another detective hunt what fun this is. Thanks again.
