Find Ancestors

Hi

Trying to find details after 1901 about the Watts family of St leonards On Sea, Sussex. 1901 census finds them living there: father Francis, mother Harriett [nee Rix] daughters Dorothy 1897 b. Hastings and Enid 1900 b. St Leonards. If any one has links to this family or can find any details however small I would be very gratetful. I have drawn a blank, unable to find even death records for any of them.

Hi margaret.

The Jones/Watts marriage was in Brighton but it is odd. Enid was my father's mother [per his birth cert] but my Dad's father was a Stephen Griffiths..can find no marriage for Enid and Stephen but my dad born 1928 and abandoned by them soon after.

If my Enid married Tony Jones in 1916 in Brighton, then something odd happened!!

I'm in the dark completely...

When were Francis and Harriett born?

Have no idea whether she married Stephen - can fnd no record if she did..although she calls herself Griffiths on my dad's birth cert. This is the tricky thing.

I don't know...I know nothing after 1928 when dad was born..sorry. Dad never knew his parents or his relatives so I have little to go on.
